COURSE OVERVIEW 


Registering for this course is a two-step process:

YOUR REGISTRATION FOR THIS RE-CERT IS NOT COMPLETE OR ACCEPTED UNTIL THIS IS DONE. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOU ATTEND THIS RE-CERT OR YOU CANNOT ATTEND. (BRING PROOF OF PAYMENT RECEIPT TO CLASS)

If you do not register online you will NOT be allowed to "Walk In" to the class.

Those who register prior to three days from the start of the first day of class, will be receive their badge the day of the course. All others will have their badge mailed to them within 2 weeks.

COURSE DETAILS:

All referees must take an annual refresher exam and pass at the appropriate level for their grade. Attendance is required for a re-certification clinic.

If you have not been a certified referee for the last three years you will begin with this course. In this course you will receive the information needed to become a certified referee.

A Re-Cert Grade 8 course – is a 16-hour event. Attendance is required for the whole course. There might be some outside / field work.

What to Bring:

·         Water

·         Sack lunch (Not required as option to plan to eat out is available)

·         Paper for note taking

·         Black or blue ball point pen

·         Pencil with good eraser (for taking the test)

·         Quality whistle. No neck lanyard

·         Wear comfortable clothing & shoes for jogging & field work. No sandals or flip-flops. Cleats are not required.

All fees are non-refundable for a non-passing exam. If needed, you can retake the exam until you pass at no additional charge.

Pre-registration must be done online before you attend this course.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

USSF referees 18 years old and older to have Risk Management approval to referee any youth match. If you are turning 18 this year you must apply on or after your birthday.

 

 


Referee Course Grade 8 New/Renew License
